Part I: two days—Right Use of Power Workshop
During the first two days, the core aspects of the right use of power will be covered through the four dimensions of the power spiral. Topics include: power differential, intention and impact, shame, feedback skills, personal history in relationship to power and authority, challenges and resources, ethical decision-making, resolving difficulties, power dynamics, self-care, self-correcting, and common ethical errors. These will be presented both didactically and through self-study and the gathering of group wisdom.

Part II: two days—Right Use of Power Facilitator’s Training
Building upon this foundation, the optional second two days is for leaders and teachers who wish to offer Right Use of Power programs to others. It covers use of the resource manual, selected additional topics, and designing, teaching, and evaluating skills. Upon completion of the entire 4 day training, you will be able to use the material to facilitate your own workshops. Many professional organizations now require continuing education in ethics to maintain licensure. You will also be eligible to join the Right Use of Power Facilitator’s Guild and be networked through the website and administrative office.
